As a dog owner for over 30 years, I bring experience in caring for many different breeds. Dogs in my care are family, not pets. All dogs that stay with us are treated and loved as a member of the family. I have been watching many local dogs for several years as you can see from my photo library and recently decided to add my name to Rover.

Melissa was fantastic with our 2 year old PWD Sasha. Drop off and pickup was so easy and she also checked in with us during her stay with pictures and updates. When i picked up sasha she was happy to see me but also wanted to hang with Melissa still so I could tell sasha had a great time Amd was treated great! Melissa has a great home and backyard - everything was perfect!
Melissa watched my six month old puppy for me. She was loving, caring and attentive to her. She has a fenced in yard where my puppy was able to run around, play fetch and get her "zoomies" out. She also took her on walks to get her exercise in. My pup can be a bit of a "mommy's girl", Melissa gave her the attention and affection she needed. I consider my puppy to be my second daughter and am very protective of her. I would trust Melissa to watch her again and plan on calling her the next time I have to go out of town. 🐶💕
Melissa has been an absolute Godsend to us, as we are now able to travel without worries about our senior Boxer boy. We have used Melissa's services for a few short trips, as well as our summer vacation this year. Not only are we comforted to know Romeo is in a private, loving home, we know that he has companionship and playmates in our absence. Melissa is diligent in making sure our boy gets his home cooked food and supplements, just as he would at home. Melissa's house has become a home-away-from-home for our pup, and we are so glad we found her!
Melissa gives each dog the utmost love and care. She treats each dog like her own and makes sure they get all the snuggles. She even comes up with fun adventures and play times! She is extremely organized and dedicated to providing quality care for your fur baby. I highly recommend her services.

I have 2 spayed dogs who are very friendly and used to having other dogs in the house. I only take 1 dog in at a time so if your dog enjoys the company of other dogs, they will love hanging out with my dogs!
A typical day
If your dog is active, we will take long walks around the lake in Spring Lake, ride up to the beach to play in the sand or hangout in the park. If your dog prefers to lay around the house, we'll cuddle up on the couch for movie night.

Being a school teacher, I am home early afternoon and all weekend/holidays which provides me with plenty of time to care for and love your furbaby.
