Pet care experience
Hi my name is Melissa! I worked at a vet for 4 years & have plenty of experience taking care of dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes. I have had a dog my whole life & my first dog lived to be 18 so I have experience working with elderly dogs as well. I have my own dog & show her unconditional love. I am a student, but I am home every day when not in class. I have a pretty set schedule. I am very flexible and willing to work with all schedules. I am very caring and loving and have been caring for my own dogs, my friend’s and family’s dogs, and many other animals for my whole life. I am experienced and am willing to make exceptions for dogs with special needs as well. We can work together to make things work and make accommodations.

Melissa's love for all animals is evident in not only the way she acts around them, but how they act around her. I have observed doing everything from tending to wounded dogs and make them feel safe, to sharing fun, positive experiences with not only her own dog, but dogs belonging to others people. Her friends see her as the go to person for dog sitting, and she loves every minute of it. She is an aggressive supporter of animal rights and cannot stand to see pets being mistreated. She is reliable, organized, and trustworthy and would take her responsibility with any canine very seriously.
Melissa has been watching my dogs on and off for the last 6 months. They absolutely adore her and she is very attentive to them. She sends me daily snap videos and photos to assure me everything is okay and that their happiness is the priority. Would definitely recommend her !!
I’ve been in situations where I’ve been wondering about what my pet is doing throughout the day, but with Ms. Melissa I never have to worry. She always keeps me updated on when, where, & what my pet is doing and I love it. She’s very punctual and my pet loves her. She tends to all her needs and I can tell my pet is very comfortable with her.

A typical day
We will go on walks daily if the weather permits. We will play in my large backyard, including catch/fetch, or playing with my dog. We will also go to dog parks. I also show your pet lots of attention and love.
