Pet care experience
Hi! I am an animal-loving young professional who just moved to Nashua. On weekends I am usually golfing, camping, hiking or hanging at home with dogs. I have a genuine love of all animals! I have pet care experience with young/old dogs, as well as experience with adopted/abused animals. I can almost always make full availability on weekends! I want to contribute my time to help people care for their dogs, while having a furry friend to hang out with! I do not mind having dogs on my furniture, especially if they like to cuddle! I have had two dogs and one cat, both registered as an emotional support animals. I have also volunteered at the local shelter. I’ve been fostering since 2020 with Last Hope K9 Rescue and have helped 5 dogs find their furever homes as well as countless vacation coverage for other fosters/friends! I will make time and consider each animals needs to adjust our schedule accordingly.

Melissa was super helpful, accepting a last minute booking and making it possible for my wife and I to attend a family event. She made Emi feel welcome and comfortable, and at the end of the day she was tuckered out from playing with Mellisa's puppy. Would definitely book again.
Melissa was great with Scout! She sent us pics and made Scout feel right at home. Her dog was also a great play partner and Scout came home happy and tired which is a good sign of a great stay :)
Melissa was really accommodating for a last minute booking and responded quickly when communicating about drop-off/pickup. Lucy enjoyed her stay and tried to go back inside when I picked her up, so I'd recommend Melissa and would book daycare again.
I give 4 starts because during the 4 day stay, I got only 3 pictures on the first day. When I later checked in for updates, I was told my dog was napping. Comparing with another sitter I worked before, I got less update less then I expected. My dog came home very sleepy for few days.

I have an outdoor private deck and will take your pet for walks in a safe quiet neighborhood or to one of 2 parks around the block. There are also dog parks nearby and we enjoy taking Isla to reservations, short hikes and the beach!

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or requirements and I will accommodate. Also, any information that will help us get acquainted and make your pet comfortable in my care would be great! If they are not good with other dogs, we will avoid parks or dog parks. We have all the supplies needed including training pads and treats. Just let me know if there’s any treats to avoid. Any favorite types of toys I most likely have and plenty of super chewer options!
A typical day
There are several dog parks around but we will occasionally drive to the beach or a park for the pups to enjoy! We take nightly walks with Isla around the neighborhood. I have several puzzles and lots of toys to play with. If okay I will provide a peanut butter frozen Kong toy for your pet if requested. Please bring any of their favorite toys or beds to make them comfortable.

Availability
I’m currently in the office 3 days a week but my boyfriend works from home every day and is with my pup Isla. Weekends are usually free and spent at home!
