Hello! My name is Melissa and I live in Tacoma. Contact me if you need someone to take care of your chickens! Currently consider myself a single mom, urban chicken farmer and kitty momma. I grew up in the Chicago area and my mom allowed me to keep nearly every kind of pet imaginable. I had my first pet when I was about 4 years old, a kitten I found in the bushes on Halloween. I named her muffin. From then on I cared for ferrets (the happiest little fur balls on the planet I tell ya) hamsters, frogs, fish, turtles, lizards, and of course the family dog, a chocolate lab named Jordan. Animals are my life. I am currently pursuing my masters in environmentalism at The Evergreen State College. I am also currently advertising myself as a chicken sitter as well as for dogs. :) I am happiest when I am surrounded by animals. I am clean, professional, good communicator and more than will to work with you on schedules and generally just doing whatever I can to make things easier for you. On some visits I may have my 7 year old son with me, so if your pupper isn't quite into kids, let me know and we can work out the schedule. :)
