Pet care experience
I recently moved to Shrewsbury from Framingham. I have been pet sitting, dog walking, and drop ins for about 5 years on and off. I have two cats of my own who are my world. I care for all fur babies like they’re my own. We know each of our family members has a unique personality and I’ll adapt to these needs as needed and on request. I can take all aged dogs for walks and play with them as long as they need it. Every dog or cat I have watched since starting this job I have enjoyed getting to know their unique personality. If I’m required to stay overnight I’ll adapt to their normal routines. If they need a snuggle buddy, someone to chill and watch tv with, or just be in the same room while they peer out the window I’ll be there for them. I’m a veteran of the USMC, I understand responsibility, punctuality, and communication are key when you are away from your furry loved one. I send plenty of photos and updates so you’ll always know what your little one is up to. I look forward to meeting the member of your family!

Melissa took great care of my cat Autumn and helped water a few plants while I was away. She also made sure to write a summary and share pictures after every visit. My apartment looked great- could barely tell anyone was there! Would definitely recommend if you’re on the fence. Had a great experience!

We were so grateful to have Melissa watching over our cats while we were away. I’d love to know their normal daily routine, to include feeding and walking schedules. If they need to take daily medication or have a specific feeding diet. I’ve watched many dogs who are dog aggressive and would like to know if your neighborhood has other dogs to watch out for. Whatever you deem important, no detail is too small.
A typical day
I match the energy of the pet I’m sitting. Some just want a cuddle buddy others may need someone to play tug-of-war or fetch with. I learn your pets unique interests.
