Dogs are our life, and our pack welcomes new dogs all the time! Jim and I have had a love for animals all of our lives, but living in apartments kinda prevented us from ever adding a pup to our family. In 2010, we moved into a house and our first little boy (Dawson) joined our family! Over the next few years, we adopted others (YaYa, Charlie, Chewy, Mitsy & Lillie). But we felt like we needed to do more. Early 2012, we started fostering small breed dogs for our local Humane Society. We cared for and found forever homes for almost 100 animals! During that time, we have done it all! We have taken care of dogs with skin issues, eye issues, epilepsy, giving medication in pill/liquid/inhaler form, aggressive, incontinent, tripods, recovery from countless surgeries. You name it, we most likely have experience with it. We received compliments all the time from the families that adopted our foster dogs. We have several past foster dogs that we still babysit when their owners go away on vacation. Then someone told us about DogVacay... We have been with DogVacay (now Rover) since Dec 2015 and absolutely love it! Every pup has their own personality (like lil' humans). And even though we are not old enough to have grand-children, we like to think of them as our grand-pups. (OH, we have two grandkids now, 2021) We get to love and spoil them while they are here! Then they get to go home when Mom & Dad come pick them up and look forward to the next time they come to visit us :) We would love to open our home to your babies!
