Melissa walks my four year old pit/lab mix three times a week and my very wiggly pup is always excited to see her. She leaves a daily log letting us know about their activity for the day and points out anything she might have noticed like a slight limp or a food dish with mold on the bottom. When it's too hot to walk outside, she uses her judgement and plays with him in the back yard instead. I trust her with my dog completely. He's a very lovable boy, but he's not without his issues. He's not a fan of small creatures being alive, so you have to be vigilant on walks and in the backyard to make sure he doesn't get too close to something. Melissa will let us know if he becomes too interested in a specific area of the yard, so we can keep an eye on it and make sure he doesn't get into anything he shouldn't. If we need extra days she always does her best to accommodate us and in a year of walking our dog she's never once cancelled. If she's unavailable she has an assistant to help her and she always lets us know in advance when he's coming. The greatest recommendation I can give is my dog's waggy tail. I think he's happier to see her than he is to see me, because any time he sees Melissa he knows something good is about to happen!
