Pet care experience
I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I've been dog and cat sitting for friends for years. I’ve been on Rover for over a year now. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy spending time with peoples animals. We’re building bonds, trust and patience with each other. It’s been a huge plus for me to have these animals in my life.

Melissa was fabulous! She took such good care of my big challenging dog! She was communicative and sent pictures and left my house neat as a pin. I will definitely book with her again if I am lucky enough to find open time on her schedule :)
Melissa is amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure Theo & Heidi were well taken care of while I was out of town for the week. She stayed at my home and provided nearly round-the-clock care for them, sent me regular updates with photos and left my home extremely clean! I can’t say enough about how great she was and will definitely be booking her again soon!
Melissa did a fantastic job with our elderly pups. They’re happy and tired from the exciting weekend. Our house was well taken care of and linens even in the washing machine. We would hire Melissa again anytime.

I have been entrusted to house/dog/cat sit by friends and several customers. I've built a wide range of reference's that I can provide references with request. I currently live in an apartment that does not allow animals. So I can not sit at my place. I love long walks and hikes if your animal is inclined to with once we build some trust. I'm patient, tender and can show discipline with strong voice commands as needed. i'm playful and attentive and will most likely oogle love all over your pet.

Good information to have before a meet and greet. Does your animal like to be around other dogs? Are there any special needs issues to talk about. Do they do well with off leash at dog parks? Are there any allergies that I need to be aware of? Do they need to avoid small woodland creatures. What do they like, treats, toys, water play or ball? What calms them? Balnket, toy or snuggles.
A typical day
Some of my favorite spots to take my pack are Discovery Park, Carkeek Park, Magnason Dog park, Golden Gardens Dog park and Edmonds Beach Dog Park. Generally, we’ll explore different routes in the neighborhood near dogs home. For cats, I generally feel out there behavior and we could play with toys, snuggle or just enjoy each other’s presence.

Availability
Right now my schedule is open to house sitting and walking animals during 9am-2pm hours, I am an artist as well so I do market’s and festivals, usually on weekends. I like to schedule sits minimum two weeks out. with a meet and greet before. I generally walk dogs with in a 1 hour walk. Sometimes we can go over 10-15 minutes depending if I take them to the park. Dogs that I house sit for generally get 3 pee walks a day. At least 1 long walk mid day to afternonn if needed and 30 minutes for potty breaks. Cats just get play time and snuggles thru out the day.
