I've worked for over two years in a dog grooming boutique so I am very familiar with breeds of dogs as well as having knowledge on most all harness, collars and other protective gear for pups on the move. I personally have a 95 lb German Shepherd who loves to go everywhere with me, so types of pups big or small are not a problem as well as multiple pups.

I've known Melissa for over a decade and can safely say she cares for her pets the way most people care for their children. Over the years I have witnessed her raise multiple puppies, and cats alike, and cared for them unconditionally well into their adult years. If Melissa knows of an animal in need, she is the first person to offer assistance or advocate on behalf of that animal to get it the proper care. She is sellfless, loving, dependable and punctual. Absolutely everything you could want in a pet sitter. Melissa will love and care for your pet as if it was her own.

I always try to leave pups in the same care that they were found. I am always happy to accommodate any needs that the pup or family have for the care of the dogs while in my supervision. Let me know if you leave treats out for after walks or if you would like me to refill food dishes. I always check to make sure pups have water after a walk.

I always like to know if your pup is an escape artist in any way. If they like to dart out the front door or if they find it easy to slip their collar on walks. It's always nice to know the little quirks or habits that the pup has during those times that might cause harm if not noticed. I also love to know where you keep the treats for the pups so that I can leave them with a little something on my way out the door.
A typical day
My German Shepherd loves to explore the local parks in the area. Swimming is his favorite exercise and we certainly aren't afraid to get a little dirty. But only if the pet parents allow this sort of play. There won't be any muddy paw prints left from our adventures, I promise! Of course, we have all the normal fun, smelling all the smells in your local neighborhood. And if you are working on any specific training that you would like me to follow along with please feel free to leave any notes. Training has been a wonderful and fun bonding experience for my pup and I so I would be happy to help with this journey of yours.
