Our dog sitter of two years changed jobs late last year and we’ve been leaning on friends and trying out different services to help out when we travel. Our pooch is a rescue, rather shy, sweet when he gets to know you but slow to warm to strangers. We found Melissa via Rover and I cannot say enough good things about the amazing care she provided our dog. She is a natural with animals, our pooch was immediately comfortable with her, she provided great updates on a regular basis while we were away and he was in the best shape he has ever been when we returned home. He generally goes through a little anxious behavior when we get back from a trip. None of that happened when he came home after staying with Melissa, which is a testament to how comfortable and safe he felt while we were away. Thank you Melissa!

Melissa is great! She was our cat sitter for the week we were out of town and took care of things like getting the newspaper, mail, and watering plants in addition to playing w and feeding our little guy. She even sent the most amazing pics of our little one to us so we wouldn't miss him too much. I can't say enough good things. I will definitely be booking her again the next time we go out of town.
