I’ve been a dog sitter for friends and family for about 7 years now. I have done long term stays at their homes and happy to take pets into mine. I will always prioritize your pets safety and happiness. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I wish I could have a dog of my own, but due to frequent traveling, it's sadly not the right time for me. I love having the opportunity through Rover. I have experience with paralyzed dogs and I know how to care for animals of all types. I honestly love animals so much and will treat your pet like my own. My family bought a puppy 2 years ago so I have experience training young dogs. I love to walk and go on hikes, but I am mindful when it comes to how much you animal can handle in the heat. I have no pets in my house so if your animal doesn’t get along with others it is not a problem. There are always two adults at the house, since my boyfriend and I work from home full time.

Melissa would be an amazing pet caregiver. She watched my frenchie weekly while I was at work. She is so thoughtful and caring. She loves the pet as if it’s her own. She would keep me updated through out the day, send pictures, let me know if she had any concerns—very responsible and cautious. Melissa is loving and nurturing and passionate about animals. She is such a good person and I couldn’t recommend anyone more fit for the job!

I have a large backyard, so happy to take them out as often as needed. I live near the beach and love taking pets there. We’re also close to a creamery, so if your pets likes pup cups, I’ll get them one!

Availability
I currently work from home with my boyfriend. So there are always two adults in the house. I work in sales on my own schedule so I can always get up and take your pets out or for a walk.
