Pet care experience
I have many years experiences with all types of dogs. My first job at 16 years old was working at a doggy daycare in Texas, which included cleaning up after the pups and playing for hours in a large park with a variety of breeds. I learned how to communicate and work with dogs through patience and persistence. I grew up with dogs and currently live in a home with two pups (a pure bred Dogo Argentino and a Ridge back mix I call my “niece and nephew”). I am very comfortable with all breeds of any size and age. I believe that animals should be loved and treated as humans. I have patience and compassion and understand that animals are part of the family!

Melissa has been a huge help to our family as we added a new member, a new lab puppy. After a quick meet and greet with my wife (before we even got our puppy) we were confident she would do great. She stepped up and into our family just as we needed her. Without even meeting our pup, she showed up and started caring for him on day one. The extra play time, walks and times out to potty have made for a happy puppy and great transition. She is extremely responsible and timely. She sends photos of her playing and on walks every day. Melissa has been extremely flexible with additional afternoon puppy visits when a couple of business trips have popped up too. I’d highly recommend Melissa to assist in taking care of your four legged furry family member.
My husband and I have our own Rover business. We understand customers’ needs and have two fury babies of our own. Needless to say, we have high standards when it comes to the care of our dogs and house. We trust Melissa with what we love most, our pups and home. Melissa treats our four legged babies as her own. We have a mastiff and a mutt; she handles them equally with confidence, care, and love. Melissa cleans up after herself and keeps our house clean as well. Not only do our pups have special dietary needs, our house has it’s own needs with sensitive plants and package deliveries. When we leave either on business or vacation, it give us piece of mind knowing that our home and our pups are being taken care of as if we were still there. You will be able to focus on the reason why you left instead of worrying about what could go wrong. I recommend Melissa to anyone who wants someone to love on their pets and look over their home with the care and love that, normally, only family brings.
Melissa is an excellent caregiver. She has plenty of experience taking care of other's pets and/or their houses. One of her greatest strengths is open communication, which puts people at ease when they are separated from their fur babies. Being a five star rover sitter also, I can vouch for the quality of care and follow-through of any instructions you may have pertaining to your pet or home. You simply can't go wrong by choosing this professional, reliable, and sincere pet lover!
