Pet care experience
Every dog is unique and has their own needs and personality. I only care for one dog at a time so I can devote my full attention to your pup! If your dog requires any special needs or attention, please don't hesitate to let me know. I have several years of experience caring for, walking, and training dogs from puppies to adults with low to high energy levels. I have had the invaluable experience of caring for and training a rescue dog that needed a lot of love to show him how wonderful the world is! I am both excited and prepared to meet all of you and your pet's needs!

Melissa did a great job of taking care of Nami and easily relieved me of all my worries while I was away. She made sure she was comfortable and followed all the care instructions given, while providing frequent updates and photos. Will definitely book again!
Melissa is an excellent dog-sitter. She is extremely understanding of my dogs needs and has taken care of her many times. My dog has food intolerances and Melissa goes out of her way to ensure that my dog doesn’t get into anything she’s not supposed to. She takes her out on long walks and plays with her till my dog can’t anymore. My dog is always delighted to see her and I am grateful for Melissa’s considerate but fun care taking.
Melissa is amazing with dogs! She has vast expertise and experience with training, walking, and guiding dogs due to her own time with her family dog, Cooper. She is kind and always puts the health and happiness of dogs before her own. She would make a great Rover dog walker!

I am also able to take them on walks around the neighborhood and in the park with your permission. If I am away, I would be able to crate your pet if needed.

In addition, please let me know your dog's favorite toys, energy level, attitude towards strangers, favorite activities and usual daily schedule. In addition for house-sitting, please provide me with the following information: 1) Is your dog spayed/neutered? 2) Is your dog up-to-date on all vaccinations? 3) Has your dog ever exhibited aggressive or dominant behavior with other dogs or people? I have experience caring for fear reactive dogs but would like a heads-up if that is the case! 4) Is your dog well socialized (doggy daycare, boarding, dog parks, etc.)?
A typical day
When I watch dogs, I like to learn a bit about their unique play style and personality. I like to play fetch, tug or hide and seek with them depending on their level of energy and favorite toys. If the weather is nice, I love the outdoors so I love to bring them outdoors or take them to parks for longer walks!

Availability
I work a 9-5 job but currently I am able to walk dogs at any time during the day as I am working remotely from my home full-time. I am also currently able to drop in during the day for quick walks or play time as needed. Dog Walking: Generally available from 8am-9pm. Please contact me for more information.
