Pet care experience
Hey I'm Melissa! I've lived in STMA since 2003 and raised 3 kids that are all grown up now. That leaves me with a fenced in back yard, our 8 year old Lab named Ray, time and space available for dog care and boarding. I'd love to help out and offer either for your dog(s). I am home full time with a pet of my own and my dog daycare. You have the option for private or group play and potty times. I have indoor and outdoor spaces. A fenced back yard with ample running room. A lower level with toys, blankets, beds and multiple kennels when needed. Depending on your pets needs, I am happy to accommodate. Day to day will be different as I am very laid back and feed off of the dogs' energies. I will keep them as busy as they like. There is plenty of free play as well as directed play. There a break times too so we don’t over do it. There are plenty of cozy accommodations. If the weather isn’t great we can always stay in and play too! I prefer the fresh air so most of the stay will be outdoors. There is 100% attention and supervised freedom here. Come PlayatRayz!!

Wonderful stay for my pups!
Melissa has watched our fur babies Rain and River countless times and has always been wonderful. Her amazing set up always our babies to feel right at home and have the maximum amount of fun. Melissa puts fourth such a high level of care that has always left us feeling safe and comfortable leaving our fur babies. Rain and River absolutely love playing with Ray and they have all become the best of friends. I highly recommend taking your pups to Play at Rayz, our dogs have a absolute blast!
Our Lily had so much fun staying with Melissa! She loved playing with Ray! It was very comforting knowing our little girl was in good hands during my hospital stay. Lily will definitely be going back. Thank you so much!

I have indoor and outdoor spaces. A fenced back yard with ample running room. A lower level with beds and crates when needed. Depending on your pets needs, I am happy to accommodate. ***I have a dog daycare and can have multiple dogs at once. Up to date vaccination (must include bordetella) proof is required as well as a contract/waiver to be signed prior to care. I no longer take aggressive breeds or ones with excessive barking (your welcome neighbors 😆).

A typical day
Day to day will be different as I am very laid back and feed off of the dogs energies. Mornings are greetings to newcomers if any and play outside for everyone to get to know each other. Currently i have the pet pool up if it gets really warm. I will keep them as busy as they like. There are plenty of free play as well as directed play. An early afternoon break seems to do good inside on the lower level. Plenty of cozy accommodations. If the weather isn’t great we can always play inside too! I prefer the fresh air so most of the stay will be outdoors. There is 100% attention and supervised freedom here.
