Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Melissa and I've been an animal enthusiast my whole life. I have been caring for dogs for over 10 years, and I am very good at discerning their emotional state and needs. Nervous? Energetic? Hungry? Affectionate? Like your space? I love getting to know every dog and their specific traits that make them who they are and allow you to love them so much. I have a great deal of experience medicating both nervous and calm animals and dealing with a range of training, age, and size. I am becoming increasingly dedicated to physical fitness and love to run and play with your amazing pet. I love and have worked with animals of all sizes, and am extensively experienced with smaller animals. I can take them to see new sights and sounds or revisit their favorite and comfortable routes. I look forward to meeting and bonding with your best friend!

Melissa takes fine care of Muffin, walking him in Central Park and making sure he is able to go at his own relaxed pace. She also is careful about picking up after him, reporting his movements, taking a picture and making sure he has water. Muffin is always relaxed with Melissa.
Hi there! My name is Moira and I am the proud owner of a Bedlington Terrier by the name of Archie. He is only 4 months old and since bringing him into my home Melissa has been caring for him when I've been out of town (which happens to be a lot because of my job). She is not only an extremely communicative, responsible, and caring dog sitter, she is also extremely intuitive. The noisy Soho streets are quite anxiety producing for Archie, which can prevent him from wanting to go for walks. Melissa has thought of creative solutions for acclimating him the bustling environment and making him more comfortable with his surroundings. She also has taught him tricks! I would highly recommend her for any dog sitting or walking job.

Most importantly, are there any habits you'd like to add to your dogs care, or do they have a routine they are happy with? Are there any skills you'd like me to try and teach them?
A typical day
Depending on the neighborhood or area, I will make a concerted effort to take your dog to the nearest park, especially if they are energetic. If not, I am willing to seek out whatever is most comfortable for them--whether it is routes they are comfortable with that are close by, or if they need a lot more exercise. I love to play catch and run, or just to hang out in the shade or the sun!
