Pet care experience
I only provide care in my home for one guest dog at a time, two guest dogs are fine if they are from the same family. People deserve to work and go on vacation without worrying about their pets. I am excited about providing someone else with the opportunity to go out of town without the constant nagging worry that your pets will not be attended to. Your pet will be cared for the way I care for my own pets. With regular mealtimes and outings, cuddling, attention and observation of their health. If something seems to be wrong with your pet, I will not hesitate to inform you and transport to your desired vet. I am also able to provide drop in care for cats, goats, rabbits, and chickens. Other animals would be considered with detailed instructions provided.

Melissa and her family were a great match for watching my high energy Brittany. The fenced in yard was the perfect place for him to get his exercise while I was away, and since Melissa worked from home, he had a very little alone time and lots of play time. The family walked him, played with him and made him feel like part of the family based on the pictures and videos she sent. I highly recommend Melissa if you are looking for a responsible and caring sitter for your dogs.

Non aggressive dogs only. This is a family environment with 2 medium size non aggressive dogs that live here. Both of our dogs play well with others. Under 70 pounds please, as that is the limit that I can comfortably carry if an emergency arises.
A typical day
We live in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park with lots of trails nearby. Resident ball thrower would be excited to have a visitor that would play fetch. Neither of our dogs is of the fetch playing variety, although they will chase a dog who is chasing a ball, but will not chase a ball otherwise.
