I’ve had my own pets since I was young. Both dogs and cats, and I’ve also watched many pets over the years. Over the years I’ve house and pet sat for so many people. I also have my own pets now. They are my best friends and I love to spend time with them.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Melissa for the past four years on a personal and professional basis. She is a beautiful, caring individual who brings smiles and joy wherever she goes. Her energy is gentle and kind and I love watching her play with my two young children who light up when they see her. She is extremely reliable and is always on time, fully present and ready to work hard. I adore Melissa and would trust her with my life.
Melissa is the best. She has cared for my (emotionally needy & medicated) animals numerous times. It’s extremely hard for me to feel comfortable with anyone at all, no matter how much I trust them, to care for my 2 dogs and cat because they are family to me. Melissa understands that and has told me she feels the exact same way. I can confidently say that I would trust her with my pets’ lives & I would have no one care for them but her. She is intuitive to their individual quirks and has taken the time to understand them, not just as pets but as my family.
I’ve known Melissa since we were both kids and I’ve seen her around countless animals. She has so much love for them! She’s always had cats and dogs and I’ve never once hesitated to trust her around my pets. She has watched my parents cat several times over the years and there have never been any issues. Animals truly love her as she’s such a nurturing person.
Melissa is a kind hearted soul with years of animal caregiver experience for both cats and dogs. She really is the best dog mom ever, always taking her golden for morning walks, cooking him special dog friendly meals, bringing him to puppy play dates and somehow getting her dog to pose perfectly for photo shoots. She also worked with a trainer to learn how to best communicate with her pup because that is important to her. When I need someone to watch my dog, she is the first person I think of because I know my boy will be loved in her home, taken care of and safe in her fenced in yard. I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!!

My dog is such a gentle boy and he’s very submissive. He loves to make friends as long as they are gentle with him, so we will want to make sure we are a good match. I also want to make sure you pet is alright being around my cats if they are coming to my home. My kitties are very kind, and I want to make sure they are safe and won’t be chased.
A typical day
Usually we go for long walks, or maybe go swimming in the river. Sometimes I drive the dogs up to a safe lake area for swimming. We play lots of fetch. And enjoy time in the backyard.

Availability
I take clients during the day, and my work day is relatively short compared to most, so I will have time to play and care for you animals. I have my own pets and they are an important part of my day so having another pet to spend time with will only add to our joy. I am usually walking my dog Leroy multiple times a day and I think we could bring some friends along.
