Melissa did a wonderful job with our cat while we were away on vacation last week! Our cat is usually very shy around new people, however she bonded very quickly with Melissa! I looked forward to the daily pics she would send me & the updates! It was really nice having the peace of mind that she was well looked after while we were away. Melissa was very reliable each day & went above & beyond!

Melissa is my greatest childhood friend. As long as I’ve known her, she has ALWAYS had, and shown immense love, for her animals. My testimony for that, would simply be shown by the love she had shown for a stray cat. Melissa lived in the country, rural Ohio - to be exact. She also lived on a fairly busy state road, so stray animals were kind of unheard of in her area. One day, a scraggly old, sickly cat stumbled upon her porch. We were only teenagers… and Melissa’s mother didn’t want ANYTHING to do with this cat. But, Melissa? Oh, Melissa wanted to make it HER cat. She named him Leroy. She nursed him back to health, and just like that - her and Leroy became best friends. Leroy lived another several years in her care, before his age finally got the best of him… but Melissa made sure to make his final years in his journey, some of the best he probably ever had. Melissa has also always had an array of dogs, of all shapes and sizes. And not to mention, she is literally in college at THEE Ohio State University - majoring in Zoology. She is literally the perfect fit, for a job that involves animals.
