I hired Melissa to house sit, care for my dogs, give one his epileptic medication, and feed the fish. She gave medication as per schedule and fed the fish. She played with the dogs regularly. My neighbour gave my dog his medication when she wasn’t there. There were a few issues: 1. She had friends over one night - not an issue. - my daughter is a nursing student who also works. Her professors give homework and exams. - my daughter came home after putting in a 16+ hour day to people drinking and talking loudly upstairs that continued after midnight. - my daughter had to get up early the next day and do the same thing. *That’s an issue.* 2. She had a friend spend a couple of nights. - That’s an issue!! - We don’t know them. We were not given the heads up that they might stay or needed a place to stay. We were not asked if it would be okay. - The friend slept in my husband’s bed. - He’s not impressed that some random person he doesn’t know was sleeping in his bed. 3. Frequent visits from friends to a point my daughter felt uncomfortable because there were people she didn’t know in the house. - That’s an issue. 4. Melissa’s partner was at the house every other day - not an issue. - no introduction was ever done. - no effort was made to communicate with my daughter. - her partner would walk by my daughter and not acknowledge she was there. - That’s an issue. At least make the effort to do an introduction and be civil. We don’t bite. We accept people for who they are. My daughter felt uncomfortable with the random people she didn’t know coming and going. Overall, I was happy with Melissa’s care of the dogs. It’s unfortunate that my daughter felt uncomfortable in her own house. I am sure those interactions could have gone better with a little bit more communication.

Melissa is great! My cat Cali was very comfortable with her. She is very quick to respond to questions. I would definitely recommend Melissa!
