Pet care experience
I grew up with animals and our family loves dogs and cats! I enjoy getting my steps in, so will be happy to take your dog on walks and give them lots of love in our home. We also enjoy how silly, cuddly and moody cats can be. Both animals bring us lots of joy and would be happy to have your pets while you are away.

If my other half and I could give Melissa and her family 10 stars we would. She took our 2 fur babies last min when a "Pet friendly " motel wasn't it was dog friendly and we had no where to go with the cats. The kids and our cats loved each other which was wonderful and Melissa helped us to feel good about having to board our cats. She even sent us amazing pictures. We will keep Melissa and her family as our main boarders. Thanks to the whole family 😉😏🤓
Rover was easy to work with and Melissa was wonderful! I was able to find a sitter only a few houses away so was thrilled to meet a new neighbour. Melissa was very accommodating especially with my night before request. She and her daughter were considerate and helpful dealing with my dog’s shyness and separation anxiety. It was only the second time in her nine years that my dog had been left with strangers so I was grateful that Melissa was able to calm her and assuage my insecurities as well. She generously walked my dog three times during the day…more than Emi is used to in one week! Melissa’s commitment, knowledge and friendliness were exemplary and I look forward to getting to know her further and working with her again in the future.
This is my fourth time having Melissa and her kids look after Dolly. They're the best!

I don’t have a big yard, but we are in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood and look forward to walking your dog. I have read dog training books from Cesar Millan (actually met him several years back) and I used to be obsessed with his show. I work hard at making sure dogs behave on their walks. I don’t currently have a crate, but will accept one in our home if you have one to bring. I have two animal loving 12 year-old kids to give lots of love.

Please let me know about your dog ahead of time. What temperament are they? Calm, average or extremely hyper? Do they have any illnesses? Are they fully potty trained? Do they mostly get along with other dogs if we go on walks? Are they commonly scared of any types of people? What time do they typically wake up to go outside in the morning? When do you typically take them out for the last time in the evening? I just want to make sure I have all of the info to give your pets the best care.
A typical day
We will definitely go on walks with and without my kids, they will pet and love your dog every moment they are allowed. If you have a cat, they will get to be lazy, look out at the view or cuddle with me and my kids.

Availability
I work from home, but do occasionally run my kids to sports activities. If your dog is ok to be left for short trips, they will be a perfect fit for us.
