I’m what you’d call an “obsessive dog mom.” I plan my life around my 3 year old doberman pinscher Sasha. She even has her own Instagram page if you’d like to see how obsessed I am with her (sasha_dobe). I treat my dog like my child, and your fur baby would be treated exactly the same.

Melissa is on time and very friendly!
I’ve had the pleasure to see Melissa interact with both people and dogs. She is kind, caring, and truly loves animals. She is a great dog mom who goes the extra mile for her fur girl. Melissa is loving but firm, very important for a dogs feeling of self confidence and trust. A pet in her care will be well taken care of and lucky to have her.
I first met Melissa and her dog Sasha at the local park. We both had dobermans and suddenly became good friends. Melissa is a warm compassionate person who is friendly to everybody. Our dogs became so good of friends that we play date weekly. I trust Melissa so much that my dog Whisper stays over at their house and Melissa plays with both of them until they get tired. She bathes, feeds, and cuddles with them and it is obvious that dogs bring her a lot of joy. Melissa is the first person i would call if i need someone to watch my dog Whisper. Melissa is one of my closest friend and I am very proud of her.

My dobe girl has a very consistent schedule which includes lots of fetch, obedience reinforcement, and cuddles. As a dedicated pet parent myself, I know how important it is for our fur babies to get their exercise, mental stimulation and of course pets.

Is there anything I should avoid when walking your baby (bikes, kids, etc)? Does your baby have a favorite place to walk? What commands is your baby familiar with? Does your baby have any food allergies?
A typical day
Leisurely walk that’s not rushed, unless they prefer a light jog then that’s ok with me. I like to let them sniff so they get that mental stimulation. Practice obedience (sit, down, shake), treats if it’s ok with you. Of course lots of cuddles and pets.

Availability
I’m currently a nursing student and have a set schedule for every term which is a total of 10 weeks. My schedule varies depending on the workload I have for school each week, some weeks I have a lot of downtime, and other weeks I am jam packed with assignments, reading, studying for exams and clinical rotations.
