Hello! My name is Melissa and I am excited to meet your fur babies! I am a graduate of the University of Florida, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Education. My background is in animal and plant science, and I have been caring for all kinds of animals my entire life. I have cared for cats, dogs, turtles, ducks, goats, horses, cows, pigs, birds, you name it! I have some fur-kids of my own, a Bengal cat and a Grey Tabby cat, a Beagle, four Pekin ducks, and two Goats. You can trust me to care for your beloved pets in the same way I take care of mine. You will never question if your animals are in good hands. ❤️

This was my very first time boarding my 4 month old pup and it was an amazing experience. Melissa was very responsive and gave me updates with pictures throughout the stay. I would definitely use her again.
I absolutely adore Melissa! She was so patient and loving to my pup. I was a little nervous to send my pup to boarding for a second time since I’ve had him and she didn’t disappoint. She sent updates and pictures of how he was doing to ease my mind. And my pup seemed to love her and her family/pets! I’m excited for him to hang out with Melissa again. Definitely would recommend her!
Melissa came over to meet our lab Duncan, and he loved her immediately!! So grateful Melissa will be our go-to for Duncan whenever we have plans to be away from home. Total trust and confidence in Melissa gives us peace of mind!!
Melissa did a great job taking care of our fur babies while we were away. We have a big group w/ 4 dogs and a horse and she managed them with ease. She even was able to get our shy pups to eat and sent pictures everyday to let us know they were ok. She was very responsive to messages - thanks Melissa!

A typical day
We love to go on walks around the neighborhood, play unleashed in the backyard, go for trips to the water, or play with the sprinkler. We have plenty of toys to play with inside, and get lots of cuddles throughout the day!

Availability
My husband and I are both self employed, and make frequent trips home throughout the day. We regularly come home to check on the animals and let our dog outside. The cats get sunbathing time, and the ducks get swim time every day. We are home most of the time on the weekends, and spend a lot of time in our fenced backyard. My schedule can easily be flexible to fit your needs as a pet sitter.
