Melissa is great with my dogs and with all animals. Melissa came with me to adopt my husky mix from a rescue and helped walk him with other dogs to evaluate his temperament. She rode with him in the back of the car on the way home to make sure he was happy and comfortable and was always one of his favorite people. She also helped me evaluate two skittish rescue puppies and helped get them to an appropriate sanctuary. She has a good understanding of behavior and does well with all dogs, including dogs that would be considered difficult.

Melissa walks with our dog walk group often and always shows kindness and compassion to all of our dogs. I have a very large (100lb+) reactive rescue dog who is very shy and skittish, but Melissa is always empathetic to his needs and they have been able to build a great relationship. I would trust her to care for this dog's special needs and to handle him in public, despite his advanced level of difficulty. Melissa has volunteered with me at the Full Moon Farm Wolfdog Sanctuary and has a good understanding of canine behavior. I would trust her to give responsible, loving care to any animal.
