I think meet and greets should happen in a location where the dog feels most comfortable. I love any and all breeds, but have the most experience with larger breeds. Before I take on a new canine client, I like to know all about them. Tell me about their routines, social skills, likes and dislikes, anxieties (if any), medical or behavioral special needs, training cues, etc.

Your dog and I would spend time doing what your dog likes to do. If that is going for walks, playing ball, going to the park—great! I love to be active. If they love hanging out and snuggling—I love that too! I would make sure I was informed of what the dog is used to and would do whatever makes them feel most comfortable while their owner is away. While I work a regular job, my hours are flexible, and I’m able to work remotely from anywhere. So my every day schedule changes often, and can change to fit pet sitting needs. I live in Kirkland and right next to the Kirkland cross corridor trail which is a great place to walk.I would only take your dog to a dog park if they like them. Not all dogs like to socialize with other dogs, and there are lots of other options!
