Furry, cute, and loving dogs have been part of my life since I was 9. From my own to watching and caring for my friends and neighbors dogs too! All dogs are different and have unique personalities. After a few visits, you begin to know what their needs are, even anticipate them. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule. I take my own baby, Baxter, for a walk 3 times a day. If the weather is nice I go for a 4th for additional exercise and fresh air. Every dog has their own special needs and routine. It's important for me to ask dog moms and dads what their fur baby needs and wants. What cute quirks do they have, how do they eat their food, when they "go" (do they have a preferred area), do they have any ailments (how can we work around them to keep them active), etc. My Baxter loves attention, likes bone marrow, enjoys long walks (except when its really hot), needs a grassy area to "go" (doesn't like to "go" in the same place), loves the smell of my cooking and stays in the kitchen with me, chew a good ball, play, loves a fluffy blanket, and enjoys all the belly rubs he can get.
