Pet care experience
I grew up with animals (dogs, cats, small animals) and got my own dog in my early 20s. Currently, I have a 5 month old GSD puppy (Goose), 6 yr old Chesapeake bay retriever (Buck), 5 yr old Boa (Ruby), 3yr old Western Hognose (Bruno), and lots of chickens. I am an animal lover and just looking to fill my free time with more animals while my kids are at school. My soul dog was an imported GSD who passed two years ago so I have a soft spot for shepherds. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and will take them for long hikes, just a quick walk, or some playtime. Non animal related- I have my CT special ed teaching cert, an MS in developmental psych, and an MS in neurophysiology. I also coach gymnastics and have my NASM cert in stretching and flexibility.

A typical day
Physical and mental stimulation are important for all the dogs I care for. If it’s not raining/snowing I will take them for a walk/play outside. If the weather is less than ideal I will work more on mental stimulation!

Availability
I am currently available 11:45-3:30 every weekday. My son gets on the bus at 11:40 and I have to be home by 4:00. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday I have some flexibility with time after 5pm if needed. I can also do most weekends anytime, just message me if inquiring about time outside of my availability and I’ll see if I can make it work!
