Hello My name as you've probably seen is Melissa. I am 28 years old and currently working as a part time employee in center city. I have lived with dogs and other pets most of my life. I have experience with all age groups and situations from training a puppy to "shake" people's hands to carrying an elderly dog up and down the stairs for walks. I have been inspired to join Rover mostly because I miss playing with and taking my dog for walks. His name is Banjo and he stayed with my roommate after we parted ways though I miss him dearly. I'd love to have an opportunity to give your pet the love and affection I gave him. All dogs deserve it!

When we go on weekend getaways we schedule Melissa to take care of our Beagle. We have used her several times and it's been great! We know our dog will be walked and fed on time. She even stays and plays a bit so he doesn't get to lonely. She does a great job and we recommend her to our friends.

I'd want to know if there is any history of aggression in the dogs and/or if any specific situations trigger the behavior. I believe it is important to have some idea of their level of training and if there is any undesirable behaviors they do often (like get into the trash etc.). If there is any medications the dogs need to take, that would be valuable information.
A typical day
I like taking dogs for both excercise walks and smell walks depending on their energy levels, age, and training. As long as the dogs are comfortable, I very much enjoy spending time at dog parks, letting them play with other dogs and get in a solid game of fetch with me.
