Care, Play, Love - Repeat!
My passion for animals began in childhood - always having a dog and cat, along with various other critters (e.g. ferret, hedgehog, sugar glider, etc.). As an adult pet owner, I’ve been privileged to have the companionship of a cat who lived to the ripe old age of 19 and 5 wonderful dogs, 3 of which have sadly been lost to cancer. I currently have two large, mixed breed rescue dogs - one senior and one young adult. Throughout the years, I have cared for pets of several friends and neighbors. I also have experience dealing with various short and long term ailments/illnesses with my own pets. I pride myself on attention to detail when it comes to the care of our “furry” family members! **Note: due to a negative childhood experience, I am unable to provide care to German Shepherd dogs

Dogs: Whether you have a fenced yard for potty and play or need more exercise and stimulation with a walk, I can accommodate either situation! I am willing to administer certain medications as long as there is no aggression. Cats: Interactions based on their preference - I know they can be quite particular! Feeding/watering and litter box duty. I am willing to administer certain medications as long as there is no aggression.

Melissa is AMAZING! She goes above and beyond with her care of our cat Milli. She keeps her well feed, loved, and spends extra time to make sure our kitten is well played with. She even goes the extra mile to make sure the pet areas of our home stay clean while we are away. Thank you Melissa!!
Melissa is fantastic!
Melissa took such great care of our cat while we were gone for a week. Even went above and beyond with great pictures and additional tasks like watering flowers and bringing in trashcan! Communication is excellent, and I look forward to rebooking with her!
Once again Melissa was awesome with Forest! I can tell he likes her because he always eats his food which he will not do if he has any stress. She sends the best pictures we even got a video of him playing! He also had a hairball on the carpet which she cleaned up - the spot is completely gone. So happy we have her to watch over our kitty and home while we are away. She is awesome!
Melissa is fantastic! I always feel at peace knowing she is checking in on my cat, and my cat loves her!

Schedule
I typically have plenty of availability and time to visit with your pet! My spouse occasionally travels for work, so that may impact my schedule from time to time. Also worth noting… my own dogs are experiencing some health and behavioral challenges that occasionally require more of my attention.
