Care, Play, Love - Repeat!
My passion for animals began in childhood - always having a dog and cat, along with various other critters (e.g. ferret, hedgehog, sugar glider, etc.). As an adult pet owner, I’ve been privileged to have the companionship of a cat who lived to the ripe old age of 19 and 5 wonderful dogs, 3 of which have sadly been lost to cancer. I currently have two large, mixed breed rescue dogs - one senior and one young adult. Throughout the years, I have cared for pets of several friends and neighbors. I also have experience dealing with various short and long term ailments/illnesses with my own pets. I pride myself on attention to detail when it comes to the care of our “furry” family members! **Note: due to a negative childhood experience, I am unable to provide care to German Shepherd dogs

Dogs: Whether you have a fenced yard for potty and play or need more exercise and stimulation with a walk, I can accommodate either situation! I am willing to administer certain medications as long as there is no aggression. Cats: Interactions based on their preference - I know they can be quite particular! Feeding/watering and litter box duty. I am willing to administer certain medications as long as there is no aggression.

This is the longest we have ever left Forest but I knew I wouldn't haven't to worry with Melissa checking in on him. She sends the best pictures/videos/updates which are always so reassuring! I know she does an amazing job during his check-ins and I always come back to a happy and healthy kitty. She's the absolute best and I would highly recommend booking her for any of your pets. She will treat them like they are her own!

Programa
I typically have plenty of availability and time to visit with your pet! My spouse occasionally travels for work, so that may impact my schedule from time to time. Also worth noting… my own dogs are experiencing some health and behavioral challenges that occasionally require more of my attention.
