Experienced dog training through upper level obedience, with only the best care in mind. Your dogs happiness is my priority. My love for all animals gives me a compassionate heart but firm determination to bring joy, comfort and a safe environment for your beloved family member. I have my own family of animals, large and small. My horse keeps me busy as I also train and ride, which I believe also serves me well as there are always plenty of dogs and cats about to give and receive lots of love. I have raised my animals with the love and kindness all animals deserve, I will also customize any specific needs your dog may have including senior needs, food, medications, training and of course play time.

Melisha loves all fur babies and will care for your pet so that you can enjoy your time away without worry. She is knowledgeable about dogs and has been a pet owner for 30 years. She has also fostered dogs as well as volunteered at animal shelters, so she can care for any animal temperament.
It is clear how greatly Melisha cares about animals, from her horse to her dogs she always puts a great emphasis in making sure that they have the best care. She often helps at the barn to care for not only her own animal but the others boarded there as well. Melisha never shies away from putting in as much work as needed to give the animals in her life the best and most comfortable life. She is responsible, empathetic, extremely reliable and most importantly very kind hearted. I have no doubt that Melissa would excel caring for animals as she has proved countless times in the past that she is very capable.
I highly recommend Melisha for dog sitting. Her own dog is extremely well behaved and is very happy. Her love of not only dogs but other animals is very apparent, she spends a lot of time taking care of her horse and feeds all the birds and turkeys at her workplace. Melisha is very trustworthy and I would not hesitate to leave my dog with her, I know she would be well cared for and loved up on. I also trust that Melisha would know what to do in the case of emergency.
