My name is Melinda and I am an owner of 2 dachshunds! One is a silver dapple male and my other is a short haired red dachshund female. Also, I just adopted a simese/mix in March. My love for animals began at a very early age. There hasn’t been a time in my life when pets weren’t a part of it. Pets are my passion & I enjoy every type of breed! I will give lots of love and attention. I recently traveled to the Philippines to visit my family and there were so many stray dogs I wanted to take home with me. I believe each dog is our fur-child. I was a volunteer at the Oregon Dachshund Rescue Inc. and I visit the Humane Society and the dog pound at least once a week to play with the dogs in my spare time. I also have a soft heart for other animals as well. I am a bargain shopper and look for good dog food deals, treats, and toys. That's why I have over 10 bags of 30lbs of dog food in my garage because I donate them to the dog pound. I recently moved to Nevada for nursing achool April 2018 so everything out here is still new to me.
