Pet care experience
I've been a pet owner since I was 8 or so. I've had all sizes from a teacup Chihuahua to an XL Catahoula. I've had many cats as well. The last few years I've been asked to pet sit occasionally and of course I've loved it. Pets are my life! I volunteer at the ASPCA in my spare time and quite honestly, prefer animals over people. I am responsible, energized & truly love interacting with all animals from guinea pigs to horses.

Melinda was great, she did housesitting and watched and loved my two boys. She communicated any questions and concerns she had and also sent pictures that made me feel comfortable being that this was my first time using rover. I will definitely be using her again in the near future
Melinda was great at communicating and was very reliable.
Melinda is caring,loving and gentle. She does everything a pet can ask for. She takes care of my 2 dogs and my cat. She walks them feeds them is on top of their needs. Enjoys their company. Above and beyond She will sit for hours to brush my pups out and hide kitty treats to mentally keep her on her toes. She is definitely loving and caring.
She watches my dogs occasionally and is fantastic. She is very caring and attentive to my dogs. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter.

I would follow any instructions given as well as make sure they're safe. I love to play with cats & dogs so we would fit some of that in as well...hopefully get a walk in or a trip to the dog park.

A typical day
I love to play games with the dogs like tug of war or fetch. We would do some games like find the treats or some basic training activities. Then we would go either to the dog park or for a walk somewhere in nature like the woods or a hiking trail.

I am currently working part-time but I make my own schedule so I can usually arrange things to fit any pet needs that may arise. The more animals I get to spend time with, the happier I am.
