We joined Rover Jan 2019 but have been loving and caring for our furry family members for many years! I live with my husband, Eric, our 2.5 year old rescue shepherd mix, Charlie, and our 5 year old rescue cat, Whiskey. We also have a child who was born July 2019. Someone is home almost all day. Our yard is fenced in, and we typically bring our dog to the airport dog park or Minnehaha dog park multiple times per week, but we can keep the daily exercise to leashed walks around Lake Nokomis when your pup stays with us. Our dog absolutely loves other dogs and plays very well with all dogs- large, small, and all ages. Our pets are allowed on furniture, sleep with us in bed, and get a lot of cuddles, but you let us know what routine will be best for your dog. Both Eric and I are comfortable with varying pet needs and behaviors, including any medication administration and dietary restrictions. My mom worked in a vet clinic her whole career so I learned how to properly care for animals and cultivated compassion for all animals. Additionally, my childhood home always had at least 4 dogs and several cats, along with a horse, goat, ducks, peacock, bearded dragon, and rabbits. We will treat your dog how we would want our dog to be treated, with love and care. We can provide frequent pictures and updates throughout the stay. Hope to meet you and your dog soon!
