Pet care experience
We are big animal lovers with over twenty years experience. My husband has a degree in pre-vet Animal Science and owns his own business working with livestock and dogs daily. He administers meds daily, and knows what signs to look for when animals are sick or in need. We have two dogs of our own who could be separated from yours if needed. We have experience with puppies and senior dogs and have a special place in our hearts for rescue animals particularly. Both of our dogs were rescued from kill shelters and are the center of our family!

Melinda is great! We highly recommend her for dog sitting. She is so nice and accommodating. Our dog, Anabel, had a great stay with her and her family. Our dog had a little trouble getting adjusted and Melinda was so responsive and made her feel right at home. We feel so grateful and felt like Anabel was in such good hands.
Melinda was fantastic! She was so responsive, flexible with our drop off/pick up times, and took great care of our pups. She welcomed the two dogs, who have different demeanors, with open arms and allowed them to be a part of her family for the weekend. Her fenced in backyard and pups of her own to provide extra play time were a big bonus for our dogs! We would definitely book with Melinda again.
Melinda has a real heart for dogs. She and her husband are enjoying two rescue dogs of their own. She has a gentle but firm demeanor with dogs and understands their personalities. She is also an extremely reliable and organized person and dependable-all important factors when you are relying on someone to take care of you four legged family member.

We have a fenced back yard and live in a residential quiet neighborhood with wide streets for safe dog walks. We have two very sweet dogs who can either be around or can be kept separate. We also have a separate back entrance to an in law suite if needed.

We have a variety of experience with many different breeds in our family from big dogs like Bernese mountain dogs to small dogs like dachshunds. Our current dogs are a border collie/lab mix and a border collie/cattle dog mix. Both are incredibly friendly, easy going dogs who get along with other dogs well.
A typical day
We love to go on walks, throw the ball in our fenced in backyard or lay on the couch with our dogs for a lazy evening!

I work on a very flexible schedule which allows for me to give potty breaks, walks, etc. throughout the day. Additionally, we are home every day by 5:00.
