Melina took wonderful care of my two dogs - a maltipoo and pit mix. When going over instructions she took notes on feeding and walking instructions to ensure she did it correctly. She is very attentive to the dogs and took update pictures for me when she was walking them. The dogs love her and enjoy the time they get with her. She is able to walk my dogs at the same time and is able to properly handle them at the same time. Melina works well with dogs, she's friendly, and attentive. These are the qualities I want in a person who care for my dogs.
Melina watches my 2 pups and cat outside of Rover (we met before she started) and I have nothing but great things to say about her. She is very communicative, punctual, and adores my babies! They also adore her and get so excited when they see her walking up our driveway. I am constantly receiving updates with photos and videos and I know my house is safe when she is there. She takes it upon herself to leave the place better than she found it (seriously, who does that?!), and takes in my garbage bins after garbage day. Thank you as always, Melina!

I am so grateful we found Melina. Melina stayed with our dog in our home while we were away. She provided us with updates and photos. I did not worry and I was at ease while we were way. When we came home our dog was not stressed at all. I highly recommend Melina.

I'm big into trust, honesty, and being communicative. I understand it can be difficult to allow a stranger 1) into your home and 2) with the care of your pup or cat. These creatures are so loved and I can only extend the same amount of love and care that I give my pets, to yours and your home. I am not a fan of dog parks as they can be volatile and unpredictable, so I am uncomfortable bringing your pup to one. I am more than happy to go on walks/runs, play fetch/tug-o-war, etc to tire them out. I also have experience walking elderly/deaf/blind dogs, as well.

If your pet has any allergies, please advise. I will not feed them treats unless given the OK by you. I also do not feed pets human food unless it is apart of their diet. If your pup is nervous/anxious/has behavior problems, please advise me beforehand. I have experience walking reactive dogs and always have my head on a swivel, always. Safety is my number one priority. I am not comfortable using retractable leashes.
A typical day
I am a very active person, so if your pup is high energy, I can run them (safely) for quite some time. I am also a fan of hiking and can take them on trails and properly inspect them after for ticks/etc. Low energy dogs are also fun and can be taken on walks as well.

Availability
I am off work at 5pm weekdays and have my weekends entirely free. Morning and evening walks can also fit into my schedule with proper planning.
