Hi there! I am a 23 year old teacher who absolutely loves dogs! I have a dog of my own who keeps my parents company. He is a maltipoo. I trained him various commands, such as, giving me a high five, sitting, laying, and I would love to bring the same energy and love that I do to my dog to other people’s dogs. I love education (obviously, I am a teacher), so, I enjoy an energetic and revitalizing environment with dogs, just as I do with my kids at school. I am patient and willing to work with all types of dogs because I understand they all have their own unique personality. Hope to meet you and your doggy soon! Thanks for the opportunity.

Melina was great! She gave me photo updates and was always very responsive in our communication for dropoff, pickup, etc. I think Walter had a great time :) I will definitely have her watch Walter again!!
I had a last minute work trip to New York and have never used Rover or any type of doggy care service for my little guy, so I was hesitant in leaving him with someone I hadn't met, but Melina was absolutely wonderful! So responsive and easy to communicate, I was greatly relieved to have such an amazing caretaker look after him. Highly recommend her and definitely will be requesting her again - thank you so much, Melina!

Before I dog sit, I would like to know the likes and dislikes of dogs. Whether they bark at certain people (kids, or other) or if they have certain preferences that I need to take into account.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs and combing/grooming them if they are that type of dog that enjoys that. I always have conversations with dogs and even though don’t respond, I feel like they are listening. When I dog sit, the dogs and I take long walks around the neighborhood and if the owner likes, I love riding out with the doggies out to a dog park in my car. My dog loves the Culver City dog park.
