Pet care experience
I am a huge animal lover, and look forward to getting the opportunity to take care of yours! I have two large shelter dogs, 80lbs and 50lbs named Fred and Fawn. I took care of my late dog Athena for 10 years, a 90lb Rottweiler. I have been around dogs and cats all my life - big and small. As a dog mom, I know your pets are your family, and I will treat yours like mine! I’m not afraid of slobbery kisses and can give your pet all the love and snuggles they may need!

If I could give Melia a 20 star review I would. This was my first time using rover and Melia was AMAZING. I will let dogs out to go potty at least every 4-6 hours & will make sure that they are fed when they are supposed to and always have water. For cats I can make sure their litter box is clean! If I am with them they have an eye on them always. I will make sure to listen to any needs the animal has and fulfill them. I will always try my best to make sure you animal is getting the best care and staying happy. I would love to hear more about your pets and their specific needs!

I prefer to know the good and the bad things about your pets. If they are very energetic, anxious, lazy, etc. I will know what to avoid when taking care and/or walking them. This gives you and your pets peace of mind. I would like to know of any abnormal behaviors and any medical information before hand. This will help me ensure the best care and safety for your pup/cat!
A typical day
I will make sure your pet is fed on schedule and always has plenty of water. We can spend the day snuggling and hanging out, and sun-bathing in the backyard to get some fresh air, or going on a walk around the neighborhood. Whatever you and your pet prefers and would be most comfortable with!

Availability
I work remotely so I can take time away to take care of your pets. I am available Tuesday-Sunday with the exception of a few days, but I will keep my calendar up to date.
