Hello! Thank you for your interest in hiring me as your fur babies care taker while you’re out of town, I look forward to getting to know them and you. I’ll start: I’m 21 years old, currently a student at the University of Hawaii - Hilo majoring in Environmental Science. I am completely remote for school for the Spring 2023 Academic Semester, leaving me with open availability to give some extra loving to your furry friends. I have roughly 6 1/2 years of pet sitting experience, three of which have been with Rover. When my friends go out of town, I’m the first person they contact to watch their furry friends. I’ve had animals all my life and am typically the sole caregiver for them, even from a young age. I’m very interactive, love taking dogs for walks or playing with them in the backyard and will give them lots of attention and extra care time. I’m good with early morning check-ins and several check-ins per day for drop-ins. I follow instructions to a T and will go beyond to ensure that you’re pets are well-loved while you’re away! Request a house-sitting to keep your pets the most comfortable while you’re away. Being remote allows me to stay at home all day and therefore be available to give extra belly rubs and ear scratches 🐶🐱 I can work with most dogs regardless of their breed as long as they’re well behaved/trained & nonaggressive. I also have experience with senior dogs. I have experience administrating medicine to cats (orally, sharps) as well as dogs (orally). My cat has diabetes so I know how to handle insulin and the works. I would LOVE to take care of any and all cats (make sure you’re booking for a cat and not a dog so you get the correct rate!) I am definitely a cat person BUT I love dogs all the same. I have two cats of my own. I’m available during holidays- such as President’s Day, Spring Break (partial), Easter, etc. or anytime you’re out traveling. I’m also available every weekend and on all day on weekdays until further notice. Looking forward to hearing from you!
