Pet care experience
I love taking care of animals. My family has had animals ever since I was born so taking care of animals comes naturaly to me. As far back as I can remember feeding and cleaning up after the animals has always been my responsibility. Ever since I was young I have felt a connection with animals. I currently have 1 dog, 3 cats (all have been fixed and up to date on shots), a rescue pigeon, a goat, and chickens. I have experience taking care of elderly pets. I had a dog that lived to be 14 and had a 15 year old cat. I've had a disabled house hen that was completely dependent on me. I've helped rescue injured and orphaned wildlife. I would love to someday become a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Taking care of animals is what I was born to do.

Meleah did an amazing job taking care of our dogs not only at our house but at her own. She sent pictures everyday and kept us informed of how they were doing. Our dogs are our family and she treated them as such. We have already booked her again to watch our dogs for when we are away! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take such great care of our dogs.

While at my home your pet will be well taken care of. They will have a 1 acre fenced in yard to run around and play in (with a playmate if approved by you). Your pet will always be supervised while outside! I also have 2 of the 4 panel dog pens that can be used. While inside my home, there are bells on all doors if your pet uses the bell method to go outside. Pets will be feed and taken out on the schedule you provide. I have a large and medium size wire kennels if your pet is kennel trained. You will be given updates on your pet's care via text message & photos. In the event of an emergency I live only minutes away from a veterinary hospital and have a friend that is very knowledgeable in animal care. She has worked at a veterinary hospital as well as lived & worked on a farm her entire life. *Please give your pet a bath before dropping off. If your pet arrives visibly dirty or with foul body odor your pet will be given a bath in dog & cat friendly sensitive skin shampoo and you will be charged a $25 grooming fee. A typical day
While staying with me your pet can enjoy a safe fenced in yard to run around in. If your pet enjoys the company of other dogs my dog Vivieka always loves making new friends. We can go on walks around my quite neighborhood or even visit the nearby park. I want your pet to enjoy their time with me.
