Pet care experience
Hi my name is Melayna and I would love to get to know you and your pup to see if we'd be a good fit for each other! I live at home full time in Bar Harbor but I am super active whenever I can be and offer services for pets that require any range of activity level. I am able to be extremely attentive since I live where I work and am often running errands around town, so I'd love a furry friend to bring along. If allowed I would also love to go on some easy hikes around Acadia with them. I've grown up with pets my whole life and am extremely experienced with almost all pup personality types.

Melayna watched our dog Oscar for a weekend and did an amazing job. Our pup is a little anxious but she made him feel comfortable right away and was super flexible with us. She even met Oscar a couple days before his stay so he could get comfortable with her! Amazing sitter!
Melayna was great with our two small dogs! Great communication and our dogs were happy and so were we! Will definitely use her services again on our next trip!
Highly recommend Melayna!! She handled my shy, anxious dog with care and patience. Over just a short stay, my dog had already accepted her love and belly rubs! We look forward to booking with her again next time we’re visiting Bar Harbor!

A typical day
I love hiking, of course in Acadia, but also enjoy walking around town, the shore path, and sitting in the park. My favorite spots are Agamont, Jordan Pond, Echo Lake, Little Long Pond, and the Carriage Road Trails.

I live where I work and I have a very flexible schedule that a pet could easily fit into :). My schedule isn't set so I can accept same day requests.
