Pet care experience
Through my own childhood experience and through house/pet-sitting for friends, I have taken care of dogs who love to run and fetch, anxious lap dogs who need to be hand fed, elderly blind and deaf dogs who need a lot of guidance, and a pair of wealthy rag doll cats who liked to play with their full and extensive collection of toys. Being a high school teacher, I am practiced in patience, caring, organization, and punctuality. I am also currently working from home and off of work for the summer. I recently adopted my own puppy, Charlie. He is a chihuahua/whippet/terrier mix. He loves all people and dogs and plays well with dogs of all sizes. He is still a puppy though, so if you think your dog will be grumpy with a puppy that persistently tries to initiate play, my apartment might not be a good fit!

So amazing! Melanya did everything she could.to make my little Border Collie happy and (almost as important) tired! She is always taking him out on walks, going to the park, or if weather turns she is thinking quick on her feet to keep him engaged and happy. I can't say enough positive things about Melanya!
I cannot say enough positive things about Melanya! She has watched my dogs, Copper and Luna, a number of times and they both just love her so much! She has been super responsive, very flexible, and always personable. She is the only sitter I know who will go so far above and beyond to make your dog happy. She's also the only sitter I know to actually wear out my Boder Collie, which is no small deal! I will definitely stay loyal to Melanya and use her any chance I get and you should too!!
Agreed to sit on super-short notice and did a fantastic job watching over my high-need senior sweetie, dog. (Including multiple baths and accident clean-ups!) Great communication from start to finish including fun photo updates.
Melanya M. did an amazing job taking care of my aging Australian Sheppard. He was close to blind and pretty much deaf and she was able to get him out walking like he used to. In the few days she cared for him it became apparent she had built a trusting relationship with him. I definitely recommend Melanya to anyone in need of a trustworthy, caring dog sitter.
