I am a passionate animal lover and have lived with animals from the day I was born - from cats to dogs to rabbits to turtles and more. I currently have 2 pups, an Aussie and a Border Collie, who we raised from puppy-hood and have experience with senior dogs and cats as well. I also currently have 3 cats, so I am no stranger to the chaos and am happy to care for kitties as well! I have dog-sat for friends and family for years privately, so I decided to take my passion to Rover. My Aussie suffers allergies (poor girl), so I also have experience with allergy-prone dogs and their needs as well.

Melany has watched our English Bulldogs twice while being on vacation and has been nothing short of perfect both times. As people with English bulldogs know, they can be a bit of high maintenance at time and she ensures she takes care of all of their needs (and wants). Each time we have left our dogs we know they are in the best of hands. She cares for our dogs as if they are her own and that is all any dog parent can ask for!
Melany has been exceptional with watching & walking my Brittany Spaniel, Webster. Webster LOVES it when Melany comes to pick him up and obviously loves spending time with her. She is always punctual and goes above and beyond to make sure he is cared for & exercised. Would recommend Melany to anyone for dog watching/ walking services.

I am happy to accommodate any needs that you have when caring for your pet. If your dog prefers fenced-in playtime opposed to walks, I am happy to get them exercised in the back yard. If your dog loves walks where there are other pups to socialize with, I am happy to accommodate that as well (on a leash, of course!).

A typical day
Having had very active dog breeds, I know how important exercise and stimulation are for our pups. We can play fetch or tug, go on walks through parks, neural stimulation games, practice tricks, etc.

Availability
I am available all week-nights for dog walking and check-ins/playtime. I can do early-morning walks and check ins most days as well. I can do mid-day walks and check ins on Mondays, Fridays, and some Tuesdays as I work from home.
