Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, I’ve always had dogs and cats in my home. I’ve often been asked to help sit or take care of friends and family pets as well. I love all animals and enjoy getting to help care for them! During my visits I would love to get to know your pets and love them just as I would my own so while you’re away they don’t feel alone. I currently have two cats as well as a becoming senior pit mix of my own to care for. Although I have never had to care for a special needs pet, my dog has been through several intense surgeries of removing cancerous tumors. So I am familiar with giving oral medicine and making sure to take extra care and attention to an injured/ recovering pet. But I am willing to learn any needs your pet may have!

Melany was very quick to respond when I asked if was available for the dates needed and with follow-up communications. It was my first time leaving my kitten Saffy overnight and she can be shy. Melany made sure Saffy was well cared for and I enjoyed seeing pics of their play time. I will definitely use Melany in the future.
So appreciative of Melany. I had her booked and then I had to last minute cancel and she is always so sweet and understanding. It’s so nice to have reliable and flexible support because life happens sometimes!!
She did awesome and kept us updated with our fur babies!

I do currently work a 8-5 job but I am off every weekend and holiday and would love to fill that time with helping others. I also do not mind afternoon/ night walks or check ins during the week.
