Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Mel, and I am a mom of a 2 year old baby girl, a 10 year old Pomchi named Thor and an 8 month old goldendoodle named Maverick! I have had pets since I was 6, where my parents made me fully responsible for their care (within reason at 6 years old lol). I am comfortable working with dogs that have healthcare needs as well, my little Thor has a heart murmur, and a collapsing trachea so giving medicine or providing specific care is something I have experience with. We have also cared for neighbors dogs when they leave town, so we also have experience having other pets in our home as well.

We're so happy with Melanie. She was super caring and kept us updated with daily photos/videos where it was clear she was giving our dogs lots of love. One of our dogs is very skittish and nervous and she seemed to be very well at ease with Melanie and her family.
Melanie is amazing with our dog. Very easy to deal with and keeps you updated the whole. We will always have Melanie watch our dog when she is available and would recommend her to anyone!

I have a small fenced in yard and 3,000 sq feet indoors to run around. We also have a walk path by our house where we walk our dog, so plenty of options for them to sleep, stretch their legs and run! We are opened to crated dogs or free roaming dogs (as long as they are potty trained).

If your dog has special needs, please let me know in advance so I can be sure I can accommodate, I want to ensure their safety during their stay with me. It would also be good to know if they have any tendencies or quirks, like food aggression or territorial over their bed/toys so I can plan appropriately with my dog and baby.
A typical day
I have several dog toys I use to play fetch with indoors and in our small yard. There are also several parks in the area to play, as well as a walk path for walks throughout the day.
