Pet care experience
My husband and I have had dogs our whole life, and currently have 6- and 2- year old dogs that are excited to welcome your pup into our home! We have a 1+ acre fenced in dog run, walking trails behind our house, as well as dedicated space for dogs to rest during down time. We love to spend time with the pups playing in the fenced-in yard, going on hikes, and ensuring dogs get the exercise they need. Our dogs are well behaved and very friendly, making them great hosts to other dogs that are comfortable with canine friends! We all work together to ensure your pup is comfortable and has what they need to feel right at home. If your dog is not good with other animals, we will ensure they have their own space but still get as much play time.

We are new to the area and we were SO fortunate to find Melanie and Sean! They have a huge fenced yard for the dogs to play together with fun spots to explore and lots of shade. Melanie is very hands on and playful with all the dogs! She treats each and every dog as if they were her own. We highly recommend puppy hollow to anyone in the Berkshires.
Melanie and Sean took care of our dog Maisy for six days while we were visiting family out west. They were extremely responsive to our initial inquiry, and we quickly arranged for a meet-and-greet to ensure Maisy would be comfortable boarding there (and she was). She had a great stay there and became very friendly with one of their dogs - we have never seen Maisy be so attached to another dog! Melanie posted pictures and videos regularly and gave us updates. Now that we are home, I think Maisy misses her new dog buddies, as well as Melanie and Sean. We are planning to bring her back for a play date in the near future. I'd highly recommend Melanie and Sean to anyone who needs pet care in the Berkshires!
Couldn’t be happier with Melanie and Sean! They were more than happy to take in my puppy Hank, and we all know puppies are a lot of work! Their dogs have been amazing with him, along with the other pups they watch. Hank is excited the second we pull in the driveway and cones home safe, well cared for and tired at the end of the day. Highly recommend!
Melanie is an incredible person and a very responsible dog owner/caregiver. She is attentive, patient, and just so kind! She has lovingly watched my dog, Finn at my home and hers many times, over the last 5 years. Having two adorable dogs herself, she knows the dynamics of multiple dog interactions and care. She has a wonderful large fenced yard, perfect for lots of safe dog play and relaxation! As well as beautiful surroundings for nature walks. I highly recommend Melanie for a safe, loving, fun caregiving experience for your "Best Friend"!

We play in our large dog run, and will go on hikes and walks! We have 1+ acre dog run as well as walking trails behind our home. As needed, we will walk dogs on a quiet dirt road near our house.
