Pet care experience
Aaron and I both grew up with dogs in our lives. My family often had shelties and one corgi that I was particularly attached to. My first dog of my own was a large GSD. I am now a very well trained human as a result, who can reinforce any training that you are working on with your dog. Aaron grew up with Lab-GSDs and has had a Bernese Mountain Dog and Great Pyrenees-Bernese mix as an adult. While we both have grown up and have had big dogs, we enjoy the company of dogs of all sizes and breeds. We would be happy to meet you and yours if we’re ever needed and will take care of your dog like it’s our own including at least 2 walks per day!

Our older dog enjoyed her stay with Melanie. She’s not used to being left at a boarding facility and she needed more of a home environment. Mel and Aaron helped Gemma feel very comfortable and cared for. So much so that she was ready to go back into their home when we arrived to get her rather than coming home with us! We were very confident in leaving our dog with Aaron and Melanie, it's obvious they love dogs and are experienced in taking care of them. We recieved a few updates and photos while we were away and can tell mac had a great time. Would recommend!

A typical day
Our area is a great place for walks, chasing a ball at the fair grounds, and wrestling in the living room. We enjoy cuddles when we’re tired too.

Availability
I am a full time teacher, and Aaron is working at home. Your dog will have lots of options for exercise and play routines. They can rest in their crate or on the main floor if we are both out and about. If we’re around, your dog will be around us!
