I have been a dog owner since I was 8 years old. My first dog lived a long 15 healthy, happy life. I now own two goldendoodles, Winston is 2 years old and Ollie is 2 months old. They are my world!

I’ve known Melanie for several years and you’d be hard pressed to find someone who doesn’t love dogs more! She and her partner, John, have two doodles and care the world for them. Melanie is extremely accommodating with everything dogs can put in our way. Whether with puppies or adult dogs, she is understanding and compassionate, willing to help however she can. She works in health care and is a trusted caregiver to so many people each and every day. I’m confident that if we can entrust her with our families and friends, we can surely rely on her for our dogs. Though we never want to think of our pets in an emergency, Melanie’s work and her life have proven that she’s calm and diligent in responding to any crisis, and she’s resourceful in finding anything your pet may need. It would be helpful to know the temperament of the dog before meeting them. I would love to know what your dog's interests are and what they enjoy as far as toys, walking, leashes, etc.
A typical day
I love to go for walks. I am a big fan of the parks in providence, especially the ones located near the water! My dogs love to swim so I enjoying bringing them in the water! I love to play fetch and make sure your dogs are getting the most activity they possibly can while they are in my care. The goal is to have a happy, tired pup for you to come home to!

Availability
I currently work in the Emergency Room at Rhode Island Hospital. I work 3 days a week, 7am to 7pm and every other weekend. My schedule is flexible which makes it easier to spend time with your fur babies!
