Pet care experience
Dogs have been in my life for the last 25 years, and I've loved every second of it. I have experience rehabilitating dogs and puppies from severe abuse and neglect situations for adoption with positive reinforcement and compassion. I have also cared for many dogs and cats with complex medical issues requiring intensive care and multiple medications (hit by car, CKD, lymphoma, IBD, immunotherapy shots, Cushing's, etc.). I have a biology degree and used to work in the emergency room, so I am comfortable dealing with high stress situations with urgency. I am also an avid boxer and hiker and enjoy long walks/physical exercise/nature in general. I will always care for your fur babies as if they were my own. I can provide check ins and videos/photos as needed when caring for your pets. I am extremely responsive and able to follow directions. On walks, I am always extremely vigilant and on the lookout for potential threats such as speeding vehicles, unfriendly /off leash neighborhood dogs, and strangers. I always make sure I have an exit strategy to protect myself and the dogs from any harm. I scan the ground for glass and debris and to make sure no one takes a bite of something they find outside. I clean up after myself and the dogs and make sure everyone is safe and happy!

A typical day
Every dog is different and every owner has their own unique preferences. My goal is to meet and exceed those days expectations by getting to know both you and your pet and discussing what you'd like for them. Whether it is playing catch, walking, doing mentally stimulating activities, teaching some tricks, sniffing around town, or simply providing a warm lap, some belly rubs, and companionship, I would be happy to do whatever unique and fun activities your dog enjoys!
