For boarding, we can accept more mellow dogs who don't need more than 2 walks a day and who wouldn't over-stimulate our own dog (who loves other dogs but is still somewhat wobbly from spinal surgery so can't do any heavy wrestling/playtime). Though we love puppies and higher energy dogs, unfortunately we are unable to board them for our own dog's safety right now. We can also only accept VACCINATED dogs for boarding as we occasionally foster newborn dogs through the Hellen Woodward foster program (so avoiding Parvo for them is huge; it can live in soil for decades so we can only board vaccinated doggies). For walks, we would prefer dogs who walk fairly well on leash and who are friendly with other dogs/people since my daughter would be holding leash (with me there). We are unable to walk or board dogs who have or have had any aggressive behaviors/tendencies.

We love getting out in the neighborhood with our own dog and look forward to expanding our dog walking radius. For boarders, we have a backyard so could play fetch and/of tug of war there. And give tons of pets and cuddles! If you look at our profile photos and dog photos you'll see how my kids have adored (and bedazzled) our dog and friends' dogs over the years ;)
