Pet care experience
I’ve had my own lovely lab for over 8 years (she lives with my family, my apartment will be pet free) and I’ve looked after/walked multiple dogs fairly consistently for over 6 years. I adore dogs and want the best for your furry friends!

This is the first time leaving George with Melanie. We spoke on the phone before I left him and I was pleased with the questions she asked to get to know my dog and how to best care for him. He was well cared for while I was away and I would not hesitate to have her care for George again.
Melanie was great and managed my high-energy dog Buddy very well along with my two older dogs.

Melanie took great care of my dog. It was my (and his) first time being away from home. Melanie made time for us to talk about what my dog was like and what he needed and what he’d appreciate. She reached out once when she had a question, which I appreciated. Melanie communicated very well and quickly. If she’s available, I will choose Melanie next time!

I have a large grassy area right behind my house for quick potty breaks plus many lovely walking trails nearby for longer walks. My apartment is cozy but has an open layout, allowing more than enough space for your dog :)

A typical day
Please bring any favorite toys your pup may have! I love playing with dogs and I’m sure they will too. There’s also a dog park a 15 minute walk away from my apartment.

Availability
I’m currently a college student, so while I will have plenty of time to spend with your pup, I will have to leave them alone 2-4 hours each day to attend class. My Mon-Sat schedule is fairly open, although I do work until 5 pm on Sundays!
