I love love fur babies! I've been around dogs my entire life, from family pups and friends. I've had fish, and a bird growing up and when I was 16, I rescued my first fur baby, she quickly became a part of the family, and she was around for about 11 years until she passed. As for my current fur babes I've had my old lady for almost eleven years now and the baby of the family we rescued 2 and half years ago. I have dog sat for family and friend's dogs from having them in my home or going and letting them out as needed etc. I love all animals, but dogs have always been my favorite, maybe because I can't legally own that monkey I want! To say I spoil fur babies is an understatement, I mean let's be real, I can't walk in my home with Starbucks if I don't have a pup cup in the other hand...they know trust me THEY KNOW. (I will only give your fur baby what you approve!) My older one is on medication daily plus her joint supplements, so I have experience giving medication if necessary and feel comfortable doing so. We love to play, cuddle and get some sun!

I've entrusted Melanie to stay with my dog before and she was nothing but kind and caring for Honey. Honey loves when she comes around. As long as I've know Melanie she's owned her own animals as well as cared for others. Her pets are more like her children and when you have someone so compassionate about their pets it makes you feel comfortable leaving your own fur babies in their hands. You would be making a great choice by allowing Melanie to watch over your fur babies!
Melanie is amazing with all animals. The level of care and love she provides is like none I've seen. Her dogs are more like her children, she has cared for our family pets for years, from dogs to birds and fish. Melanie will love and care for your pet like it's her own. Melanie has had her own share of nervousness leaving her pets with others so she fully understands the fear behind it, reassured she will treat your pet with all the respect and love it deserves.
I would highly recommend using Melanie as a pet sitter. The fact that she is a long time dog owner herself is evident in how she treats all animals,and how they respond to her. Finding someone to leave your pets with can be a nerve wracking experience,but if you are lucky enough to have Melanie care for them,you will have nothing to worry about!
Melanie is a caring and dedicated fur-mom. We have trusted Melanie to watch our dogs (and chickens) several times and they are always well taken care of. She is reliable, dependable and very in tune with their needs.

Our home is fenced in, and we do have a larger crate if you prefer your dog to be crated while we are not home. I also always have my phone on me, and I will facetime or send photos as much as you need me to ensure your fur baby is good! I know the fear and anxiety I had having to leave my babies with someone I didn't know, anyone actually, it can be scary but knowing the feeling, I ensure I will provide your pup with all the respect and care they deserve! We do have a 21 month old son who loves doggies but we do teach him saftey and respect to the animals!

A typical day
Your pup will get walks daily, we also have a decent yard fenced in, where our youngest loves to run around, he'll love to have company and will keep your high energy dog going! If your pet is like my old lady and cuddles is all they want, then cuddles is what they'll get!

I currently work from home full time. We also are home most weekends with the occasional date night or shopping but we never leave our pups for a long time.
